Transit, located on the second level of the highly acclaimed Transport Hotel complex, offers a roof top lounge bar with expansive views from the MCG to the Docklands... perfect for wedding ceremonies and receptions.

This sophisticated cocktail bar ordinarily open from 5pm Wednesday - Sunday is a place to relax with a delicious cocktail while being entertained by some of Melbourne's finest musicians. Transit Cocktail Lounge is available for private events every day/night of the year. It is ideal for receptions and with its cabaret style stage it is already set for speeches and/or live entertainment.

Additionally, being a late night venue, Transit can remain open later than the usual event centres for guests to continue celebrating. It is within walking distance to the Melbourne Arts centre, ACMI, the Forum, all inner city theatres, and Melbourne Park. Centrally located it is also easily accessible from all city hotels.
